OPENING RECEPTION SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2 TO 6 PM

The Christopher Cutts Gallery is excited to announce our inaugural exhibition of abstract painter Cynthia Chapman’s new work, “Burst!” The Toronto-based abstract artist is celebrated for her immersive compositions, featuring energetic strokes of colour and thick impasto extending across the picture plane. 

 

This exhibition will feature new paintings that highlight Chapman's distinctive style and her evolving experiments with the physicality of mark-making, expressing sensation and movement with vibrant strokes, bursts, and blooms. Join us on Saturday, December 6th, from 2 to 6 pm for the opening reception! The artist will be in attendance. 

 

This exhibition will run from Dec. 6, 2025 - Jan. 17, 2026.
